The Medical Error Taxonomies Research Forum presents opportunities for researchers in primary care to discuss, debate and share innovative ideas for the purpose of improving medical error taxonomies.

Medical Error Taxonomies

Taxonomy is the study of the general principles of scientific classification. Taxonomy also means the classification itself, especially an orderly classification of items according to presumed relationships. Medical error taxonomies, therefore, are those classification systems that have been developed to classify and describe medical errors.
